Tis the season for wedding bells and dungeon runs in Trion Worlds’ Rift as the wedding system rolls out with the 1.7 patch. There’s no better way to show your special duo-dungeon mate that you really care! Whether it’s an engagement to your special sweetheart or just a way to enhance a friendship with your guildmaster, weddings are an official Rift thing.
While unofficial marriages are often celebrated in MMORPG’s, many modern titles have foregone any sort of in-game system to highlight tying the knot.
And there’s more! Trion Worlds is shooting for the Guinness World Records title for most in-game marriages in 24 hours from 9 am PST February 14 to 9 am PST February 15. If you’re looking for a great time to get hitched, save the date!
