According to the Huffington Post, Rielle Hunter, author of, “John Edwards, Our Daughter and Me,” offers an apology for “behaving badly,” Tues., October 15. John Edwards is a former U.S. Senator and presidential candidate.
Hunter, John Edwards (former) Mistress, comes forth with an apology to basically everyone she had hurt directly or indirectly in having an affair with Edwards and writing the book. She apologizes to the Edwards family, her friends, married couples, and anyone affected by her actions.
She states, “I am sorry for my wrong, selfish behavior…I hurt Elizabeth and her kids. I hurt John’s family... I hurt people who are married and believe in marriage…If I hurt you I am sorry. It was not my intention, it was thoughtless and selfish, and I am sorry.”
At the advice of her publisher, she has written a revised edition: “In Hindsight: What Happened, John Edwards, Our Daughter and Me.” She apologizes profusely explaining her bad behavior.
Hunter made several national television appearances in 2010 discussing and defending her and John Edwards’s relationship, their child together and the affair.
The relationship began back in 2006 while John was married to Elizabeth Edwards, now deceased. Before the affair was confirmed, Edwards denied the relationship with Arielle, his photographer, at the time.
Now a remorseful Rielle is sorry. Do you believe her?
