Joblo is reporting that there’s been some new casting news for Ridley Scott’s upcoming prequel to the hit film “Alien.”

It was first reported that Natalie Portman was casted in the lead role and even Noomi Rapace were considered for the staring role in the much-anticipated prequel.

Now it seems that Scott has his eye on someone else… two other people in fact. He’s currently eyeing actors James Franco and Anne Hathaway to star together in the film, according to Bloody-Disgusting. According to reports, if things go the way Scott wants, the official announcement could be sometime this week or next. However, things can change from now until then. We’ll just have to wait until an official announcement is made.

What do you think about Hathaway and Franco staring in the “Alien” prequel together?

They could be a pretty interesting and great pair for the film. I’d definitely see, given that the movie actually looks good.
