Ridley Scott to produce 'Mental MGMT'

Another comic is being adapted for the big screen, but this time it isn't from Marvel or DC.

Heat Vision has learned today that 20th Century Fox picked up the rights to Dark Horse Comic’s “Mind MGMT.”

The incredible Ridley Scott (“Kingdom of Heaven”), through his Scott Free production company, has come on board as producer to help develop the project for the big screen.

The story centers on a true crime writer named Meru who is searching for the truth behind a mysterious flight when he stumbles upon a secret government agency made up of psychic spies.

Their estranged top agent, Henry Lime, teams up with Meru to dismantle the organization.

Based on Scott’s work on “Body of Lies” I’d have to think that this is right up his alley, and if they can find a decent enough director (I’m hoping for “District 9” director Neil Blomkamp) then this could be a must-see.
