Riders come together to donate blood in Corona

Lucky Greek Burgers Bike Night in Corona looked a little different as the large LifeStream blood donation vehicle was parked under the large Lucky Greek Burgers sign. LifeStream was here for a blood drive That Heart-N-Soul was having for one of its family members.

Seventy motorcycles were seen in the parking lot as riders from several groups came to donate blood, have some food and socialize those who donated blood got a free a burger combo from Lucky Greek Burgers.

The clubs that attended included Magic Wheels, Sunland, Ruthless Ryders, Twisted Ryders, and several members of Abate Local 27 Riverside, The Geezers MC and a Shoo Ryders Phoenix.

Torco oil had their tent up and Abate Local 27’s Jack Howell was there with his information display.

Thirty six people donated blood in the LifeStream vehicle.

Life Stream is a private not for profit blood center that serves all of Southern California.

According to their website at www.lstream.org  thirty seven percent of the U.S. population is able to donate blood but only five percent do so, so there is always a need for donation of life giving blood.

Life Stream will gladly accept a financial gift if one chooses to do so.

Heart –N-Soul MC  hosts the open to all riders Bike Night at Lucky Greek Burgers every Thursday night from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. there are special theme nights on occasion such as for Cinco De Mayo and Halloween.

Lucky Greek Burger s is located at 2490 Wardlow Road in Corona just off the Serfas Club off ramp on the 91 Freeway.
