“Boy Meets World” star Rider Strong, 33, married Alexandra Barreto at a rustic camp in Oregon on Sunday, one day after his co-star Danielle Fishel had her own wedding, reports the Huffington Post on Monday, Oct. 21. The ceremony was camp-themed all the way, but hampered by the lack of a few potential guests who could not be two places at once.
“I am missing some of my ‘Boy Meets World’ family,” Strong, said in a statement issued before the start of the wedding. “That was my fault, [Danielle] chose the date first.” There are ways to plan these things. Communication is a big help, but plenty of family and friends were on hand to celebrate the occasion.
From that point on, rustic ruled. Guests took on a ropes course, lots of games, and even took part in a talent show. Just like being away at camp. The invitees curled up in bunk beds after the reception festivities were over.
Typhoon provided the music, and a Ruby Jewel ice cream cart took the place of a wedding cake. There was nothing much traditional about this wedding.
Strong and Barreto met 2006, and they got engaged last year. Rider Strong married in a Rag & Bone suit, and Alexandra wore a Nicole Miller gown.
