Extinction is upon us! At least it appears that way in the new trailer for "Transformers: Age of Extinction." This new entry into the franchise is serving as both a reboot and sequel at the same time. You could call this movie "Transformers 4", but besides some familiar Autobots, the cast is full of fresh faces that include Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci.
In "Transformers: Age of Extinction" the Autobots are now in hiding as humans are now hunting all Transformers according to Optimus Prime. Wahlberg's character brings in an old beat up truck into his garage, but quickly discovers he got more than he bargained for when government agents show up demanding the Autobot's leader. After that all hell breaks loose!
A Decepticon invasion takes place as ships occupy Earth's atmosphere. Things begin to look bleak for the human race. Prime realizes he is going to need some serious backup and the trailer ends with him riding on the back of Grimlock kicking some serious ass with his sword. Bumblebee lends a hand too. You can watch all the action for yourself by clicking the trailer above.
"Transformers: Age of Extinction" opens June 27.
