It was an overall slow weekend at the box office as only three movies were able to hit double digits over the weekend.

Ride Along enjoys its 2nd straight week at the box office with an estimated $21.1 million over the weekend, bringing it’s 2-week total to $75.4 million. The movie has been enjoying a small premiere time at the box office, which is helping it’s box office total.

The other two movies to hit double digits were Lone Survivor at an estimated $12.6 million, and The Nut Job which made a little less at an estimated $12.3 million.

New movie I, Frankenstein premiered way lower then expectations only getting an estimated $8.7 million over the weekend and it’s 5% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes could be why.

Frozen is still going strong, remaining in the top 5 for the 9th straight week, which is the highest number of times since 2009’s Avatar which spent 12 straight weeks in the top 5. The movie is set to be re-released this Friday with a sing-a-long version of the movie, so stay tuned to more records to be broken.
