Ricky Gervais is getting ready for the Golden Globe Awards. The three time host is returning to the stage to once again share his humor to the millions of the people around the world and he’s getting ready to be funny. So exactly how does an entertainer get ready for a big show like the Globes? Talking about the process of getting ready on Thursday, the entertainer shared he is preparing like he did for the last show.
"I am just writing gags like last time,” said Ricky Gervais on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Finding out the presenters. The list of presenters is fantastic.”
Ricky Gervais also shared why he decided to host a third time, even though he originally said twice was enough. Thanks to all the press who jumped on Gervais after the last award show, he decided to do it again just to show that he could be invited back after making light of Hollywood’s biggest names.
"I wasn't going to do it again," said Ricky Gervais. "There are loads of people in the press that said I would never be invited back. That's why I said yes."
