The always candid Springfield fielded fan questions on his family and his career via Reddit.com.
Those of us who follow Springfield know how much he loves dogs. In the early days, Springfield’s dogs often appeared on his album covers. So it makes sense when fans ask questions on the rocker’s past and present best friends.
When asked how his dogs influenced his music, Springfield said,
‘I've never actually used them in a song, but I've used their energy, and actually, the melody to Ordinary Girl, the melody behind the chorus I pulled from a piece I wrote when Ronnie my bull terrier died, that I wrote, a suite of music. So that was a melody that I turned into a song. And I tend to put them on the covers of my records a lot. So that was very inspirational.’
Speaking of his love for dogs, Springfield believes in giving back.
‘…whenever we are in a town, we always visit and do an event at a shelter. I'm a big supporter of Linda Blair's Worldheart rescue that she owns and runs. I do as much as I can, I am always signing stuff for dogs (well not FOR them, just to raise money for them, since dogs don't really want my autograph),’ he shared when asked about his dog-related charity work.

Finally, many are speculating that former ‘Y & R’ star Billy Miller (ex Billy) will join the ‘GH’ cast.
But here’s the interesting part – the speculation is that Miller will be cast as Jason Morgan – the role formerly played by Steve Burton.
Even more interesting is that ‘Y & R’ tried to get Miller back recently when his replacement David Tom was let go. In the end, Miller did not return to ‘Y & R,’ which leaves us wondering if he will in fact come to ‘General Hospital.’
‘General Hospital’ airs weekdays at 2pm on Detroit’s local ABC affiliate WXYZ Channel 7.
