Rick Springfield was arrested on Friday for skipping out on his court date, TMZ reported on Mar. 8.
According to the report, Springfield was taken into custody after deputies showed up at his home with a warrant. However, by the time the “Jessie’s Girl” singer was booked, his lawyer had already had the warrant revoked.
Rick Springfield was arrested, and let go after he didn’t show up for a court date a few weeks ago that pertained to his recent DUI. A rep for the court claims the “General Hospital” star was supposed to pay a $1,500 fine, and show proof that he completed an alcohol education program.
"I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go,” Rick wrote on his Facebook page.
