Rick Springfield, arrested again on Mar. 8, 2013 after skipping a court date, told his Facebook followers that the matter was a simple misunderstanding, according to a report by TMZ. He said he didn't realize that he was scheduled to appear in court a few weeks ago to face charges stemming from a 2011 arrest for DUI. Furthermore, the issue has been resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
After Rick Springfield was arrested and released yesterday, he sent the following Facebook update from the Lost Hills sheriff station, writing, "I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go."
When Rick Springfield was arrested on May 1, 2011, he reportedly had a blood alcohol level of .08, the legal limit in California. Earlier in the day, Springfield had attended the 16th Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at USC in Los Angeles, California. He was booked at a local jail and released on his own recognizance. He subsequently paid $1,555 in fines and completed an alcohol education program.
By the way, Rick Springfield is 63, making him the sexiest senior citizen since Tom Jones.
