Will the Republican political establishment diss Perry because he wants to cut their paycheck?
“Am I ready for the next level? Let me tell you, I hope I am the Tim Tebow of the Iowa caucuses,” Gov. Perry said. “I like these debates and I hope President Obama and I debate a lot. I’ll talk about passing a Balanced Budget Amendment to the United States Congress. I’ll talk about having the type of part-time Congress that I think Americans are ready for.”
Perry might win the ball game in Iowa, but can he garner the support of the Republican Party when he threatens to eliminate the heavy hitters?

Perry is not a mental giant. His college transcript demonstrates that Perry was a mediocre student.

Considering the enormity of the job - President of the United States of America - voters ought to demand psychological profiles of candidates.

Rick Perry resembles and has the affect of the ex boss I had who was the meanest and most abusive I’ve run into in the more than ten years that I was in the workforce. If Perry lives up to the attitude that generated his intolerant, anti-gay advertisements then I believe his chances of becoming President are close to nil. I don’t believe most of the American public feels the same as he.
Perry is not a front runner. But should he become the Tim Tebow of the Iowa Caucuses, his opponents could clobber him by pointing out affects of his psychological profile.
Considering that Perry threatens to take a wrecking ball to the Washington establishment, he should be prepared to have his psychological profie broadcast from sea to shining sea.
James W. Pennebaker, author of The Secret Life of Pronouns, wrote a great article titled Rick Perry, Treason and Psychological Distancing explains that Perry distances himself from what he is saying!
A casual speaking style is one of Perry’s constants. One of the few. At times he seems to be splitting his personality. Are we meant to take him as John Wayne or Jerry Lewis? As the governor might put it, Americans don’t know sometimes which Perry they are dealing with.
