Richie Sambora to miss part of Bon Jovi Tour

Richie Sambora is to miss the remainder of the current leg of the Bon Jovi "Because We Can" tour.

A statement on the band's website cited 'personal issues' for the 53-year old guitarist's absence, and stated that all shows would go on as scheduled.

Just hours before the announcement, Sambora tweeted that he was "Watching more of the Every Road Leads Home To You cover videos." in reference to a fan contest which was promoting a song on his solo album, "Aftermath of the Lowdown".
