On Dec. 28, 2013, Producer Richard Skipper announced the kickoff for a year long celebration of the 50th Anniversay of the musical, "Hello, Dolly!"
Skipper will be celebrating this iconic anniversary all year long!
The show has become one of the most enduring musical theatre hits, enjoying three Broadway revivals and international success. The stage production was also made into a 1969 film that was nominated for seven Academy Awards.

The first event in 2014 that will honor this charming and talented actress and singer will be held at the Local 802 Musician's Hall in NYC (see map below). Members of the original Broadway cast will be part of the celebration. There will be other guests at the events as well.
"There will be two special performance’s of Peggy Herman’s Hit Show, and Peggy Herman will be joined by Jerry Lanning (Patrick, Mame 1966) and Tony Sheldon on Saturday night Jan. 18, 2014. The show will be at 8 p.m.
Lee Roy Reams is Peggy’s guest for the evening on Jan. 19. That show will be at 7 p.m., and both shows will be held at The Laurie Beechman Theater.
