Kalee Buetow could school you on the Seattle Seahawks roster. On her way to preschool.
The precocious 3-year-old warmed the hearts of the sports world recently as she expertly and adorably named the players and coaches who make up the roster of her favorite team. In a video posted to YouTube yesterday, Seahawks All Pro cornerback Richard Sherman met the pintsized pigskin princess and it turns out she’s even more darling when face-to-face with one of her idols.
And probably a lot more cool than most Seahawks fans would be.
Clutching a plush toy in the likeness of Sherman, Kalee astounds the shutdown corner (and most parents of 3-year-old's) as she correctly identifies Seattle’s right tackle as Breno Giacomini, a name most NFL fans can't pronounce, much less ascertain. It appears that she might be stumped after Sherman asks her to identify No. 50, but when her father Evan gives her a hint that he’s the linebacker they “saw last night at the car show,” Kalee exclaims “K.J. Wright” in the cutest utterance of that man’s name you will ever hear (If the Seahawks know what’s good for them, they’ll bring this girl in to announce the starting lineups at CenturyLink Field before the season’s end). Most importantly, when asked what she’s knows about the 49ers, Kalee immediately responds, “They’re bad guys.”
The seeds of divisional hatred being sown in preschoolers: Brings a tear to your eye every time.
