On Monday, April 2, the famed pet photographer Richard Katris of Chanan Photography returns to Taylor Veterinary Clinic. He will be holding sittings throughout the day.

Katris, a thirty-five year veteran cat photographer, is best known for the work he does at cat shows, including many Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and The International Cat Association (TICA) shows. His work often appears in magazines like Cat Fancy, and his photographs were featured on wrapping paper at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York and in products released by Smithsonian Publishing.

Monday marks the last time Katris will appear in the metro Detroit area this year, and one of only two times he will be working in Michigan in 2012. He will be in Lansing for the TICA show on August 18 and 19. As of Friday afternoon, all bookings for sittings at Taylor Veterinary Clinic were filled, but call (734) 287-7900 after 9:00 AM on Monday morning to find out if any slots have opened.
