Howard Stern Show writer Richard Christy married his long time girlfriend Kristen Jenco in New York City Saturday night.

Christy's wedding has become a popular on-air topic, especially since the Howard Stern himself announced how irritated he was by Christy's invitation. Stern raged at Christy on air, saying he was deeply conflicting, part of him wanting to support his beloved writer, but a bigger part of him feared a "horrible reception" featuring a raccoon dinner prepared in honor of his redneck relatives.

There was no mention of Howard Stern being in attendance at Saturday's ceremony on any of the Twitter feeds of cast members at the event. Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky was photographed at a charity event in the Hamptons earlier in the day.

Robin Quivers and Howard Stern Show producer Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate sent their regrets to Christy early, stating they had already planned to be out of town this weekend.
Several Howard Stern Show staffers past and present were in attendance at the ceremony that turned Kristen Jenco into Kristy Christy.
HSS Media Producer JD Harmeyer, security chief Ronnie "The Limo Driver" Mund, Steve "Not One F***ing Buyback" Grillo, Howard TV cameraman Brian Phelan and Howard TV Bonus Show host Rachel Fine were all spotted at the event. Howard Stern Show announcer George Takei attended with his husband Brad Altoman. And, of course, Christy's writing partner in crime Sal Governale served as best man.

An online "Honeymoon Registry" for the new bride and groom has them headed for a romantic Hawaiian vacation in Maui.
