Screw Business as Usualis the latest book penned by entrepreneur, businessman and adventurer Richard Branson. The book will be released Dec. 8 by Penguin Group. The founder of Virgin Group (records, airlines and more), Branson “reveals his exciting new vision for the future.”
According to Branson, “It’s time to turn capitalism upside down—to shift our values, to switch from a just profit focus, to caring for people, communities and the planet.”
The 61-year-old Branson founded his Virgin in 1970 as a mail order record retailer. He went on to sign the Sex Pistols, Culture Club and the Rolling Stones. The Virgin Group now covers many fields from travel and tourism to mobile, broadband and TV and more.
Branson is also responsible for spearheading and supporting non-profits and not-for-profit efforts such as Virgin Unite. Virgin Unite is a foundation which focuses on entrepreneurial approaches to social and environmental issues.

Screw Business as Usual is far from Branson’s first effort as an author. Among his books are Business Stripped Bare, Losing My Virginity: How I Survived, Had Fun and Made a Fortune Doing It, Screw It, Let’s Do It: 14 Lessons on Making It to the Top While Having Fun and Staying Green and Artic Diary.
