For 2011-12 school year, 97% of freshmen, whose families made less than $80,000 who applied for and received financial aid. For families making $80,000 to $120,000, it was 90% of freshmen. ONly 26% of freshmen applied for and received financial aid if from families making more than $120,000 annually.
Also, all admitted students are considered for Rice merit-based scholarships automatically. No additional applications, forms or interviews are necessary.
