Tamra Judge, formerly known as Tamra Barney, has the support of many of her "The Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars when it comes to her custody battle with ex-husband Simon Barney and subsequent fight with former housewife Gretchen Rossi. On Thursday, May 7, the day that she got into a nasty fight with Gretchen on social media, Tamra tweeted her thanks to fellow housewives Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow and Lizzie Rovsek for their support. She even thanked Vicki's on-and-off boyfriend Brooks Ayers, with whom she famously fought with in season eight of the show.
Tamra made sure to let everyone know that she has people on her side when it comes to Gretchen. "Thank you @HeatherDubrow @LizzieRovsek @vgunvalson Brooks for the love & support text I just received ❤️ U GUYS," she tweeted.
That very day, Tamra had slammed Gretchen for speaking out on her custody battle. In a Facebook post, she put up a photo of a Life & Style magazine article in which Gretchen is quoted as saying that Tamra cares more about "The Real Housewives of Orange County" than taking care of her children. Tamra went after Gretchen with a vengeance. "This nasty b***h will do anything to stay relevant," she wrote.
Gretchen didn't take the insult lying down. She defended herself in a series of Twitter messages. In one, Gretchen didn't exactly deny that she said that statement to the magazine but that Tamra should let her past record speak for itself and that she doesn't talk about things that she doesn't know about.
In another tweet, Gretchen pointed out that Tamra used to speak ill about her fiance Slade Smiley's parenting all the time but now that someone is talking about her parenting, she doesn't like it. Gretchen also made sure to take advantage of all the attention she was getting by reminding people about her and Slade's appearance in We TV's "Marriage Bootcamp" on Friday, May 30.
Interestingly enough, it seems that Tamra Barney heard her fans when they told her that by putting up her Facebook post, she was giving Gretchen Rossi the media attention that she accuses her of wanting. She has since deleted the Facebook post and the tweet that she had sent linking to the Facebook post.
