'RHOOC' Vicki Gunvalson started off the new year with Alexis Bellino

Alexis Bellino may no longer be on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" but that doesn't mean that she has lost contact with the other women. In fact, she spent NYE with none other than Vicki Gunvalson. All About The Real Housewives reported on Thursday, Jan. 2, that the two spent the last day of 2013 and the first day of 2014 together.

Alexis posted a photo of her and Vicki sitting down together in their sexy NYE dresses. Her caption for the Instagram photo reveals just how close they have remained and how much she values their friendship.

"What is New Year's about? It's about celebrating REAL friendships, real struggles and real successes! Happy New Year everyone! #iloveher #truefriendships #newyears2014 #whoohooooooooo," she wrote.

Alexis's "REAL friendships" line may be a dig at Gretchen Rossi, with whom she was friends with for a long time before it fell apart on the last season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Like Alexis, Gretchen has also been left out of the show for season nine.

It may also be a reference to Vicki's friendship with Tamra Barney, which has seen its share of ups and downs on the series. Tamra was never a big fan of Alexis, even referring to her once as "Jesus Jugs."

Are you surprised that Vicki Gunvalson and Alexis Bellino have remained good friends?
