‘RHOOC’ star Vicki Gunvalson or Tamra Barney to get spin-off show?

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson has been on the show since the very beginning, which is about 9 seasons ago. She has been filming the show for years and fans have seen some ups and downs with the family. She has gotten divorced and she has experienced a backlash after dating Brooks Ayers. She should be the next to get something from Bravo. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on May 23, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson should - in theory - be the next one to get a spinoff.

None of the Orange County housewives have gotten spin-offs, but there have been more Atlanta housewives to get spin-offs. In fact, it sounds like Vicki Gunvalson should potentially get her own show, and Bravo is supposedly looking for something new and interesting to fill in their Monday nights. Bravo is hoping that a new show could mirror the success of “Vanderpump Rules” and many are thinking that Tamra Barney’s fitness club could be a good fit. But it sounds like Vicki’s insurance company could also work.

"Bravo is seeking to anchor Monday nights better for RHOC next year with a comparable program, if not spin-off, that carries a So Cal vibe," LALATE reported this week. "While Tamra Barney is not set to get a CUT Fitness spinoff just yet, LALATE can report that Bravo is seeking how to anchor Monday nights as a better programming block with a Laguna Beach like show."

It sounds like neither woman is getting a spin-off show, if the above statement is true. It sounds like they are looking for some new and interesting characters that are as interesting as Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute. However, it is questionable whether that will happen with a housewife spin-off. Sure, Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant proved to be a good fit for Bravo, but since it has become such a hit, it is questionable whether this success can be matched with another workplace in the franchise.

What do you think of Vicki or Tamra getting spin-offs? Do you think that Vicki deserves her own show, since she has been on the show for so long, or do you think she doesn’t have an interesting life to get her own show?
