“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney went to court last week in hopes of convincing a judge that she should be allowed to film her three youngest children as part of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Because she shares custody with Simon, he has to approve that Bravo is allowed to film his children. And he isn’t having it. According to a new Radar Online report published on Dec. 20, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney isn’t any closer to winning the court case against her ex-husband, Simon Barney.
When Simon was on the show, they were filming the children. However, he is fighting back with everything he has. In fact, he seems to have won the first battle, as a judge has ordered a custody evaluator and investigation to determine if they should appear on camera. This development happened Friday. The judge did not issue a temporary ruling, even though Tamra is currently filming the show.
Simon has said that Tamra is “seeking to take away my right to parent and make decisions regarding the lasting effects and impacts the show may have on my children.” As for Tamra, she feels that she is offering a happier environment than before. “I am currently in a happy and “healthy” marriage for the first time in a very long time. My husband and I having ‘fun’ at a bachelorette/bachelor party is not atypical of what other soon-to-be spouses do prior to getting married. In any event, we do not involve the children in any of these scenes and the Petitioner’s self-serving declaration and exhibits verify this fact,” she reveals.
