“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Lydia McLaughlin has revealed that she is no longer going back to the show that put her in the spotlight. She filmed one season, which proved to be too much for her. She broke down several times. But she claims there is another reason why she left the show. According to a new Radar Online report published on Nov. 4, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Lydia McLaughlin is now revealing that she made the right decision in leaving the show.
“I compare it to breaking up with your boyfriend, you know you’re not going to end up with — it’s hard, but overall you know you’re doing the right thing,” she told US Weekly yesterday after announcing the news. “I never wanted to make a career out of being a housewife. That’s never really been a dream of mine,” she revealed, adding that the producers want to invite her back to the show.
However, it sounds like she would much rather use this time to build her brand and businesses. “I want to build my brand outside of the Housewives — I’ve always been really honest with the producers about that. I knew that while I was filming it that I probably wasn’t going to be doing it again.”
Lydia has a jewelry line that she has been working very hard on and she also works on the magazine, “Beverly Hills Lifestyle.” She shares this magazine with her husband. Do you think she will be successful in building her brand after being on the show?
