“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Heather Dubrow may only have been on the show for two seasons, but she is learning where to place herself in the group of women. Since she has a working husband and four children, she doesn't seem too eager to get involved with the drama. According to a new Bravo report published on Aug. 27, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Dubrow recently sat down with Steve Edwards on “Good Day LA” to talk about her role on the show.
"Every time I catch the show invariably there is a moment where you have your arms crossed and you’re looking at a blonde woman in disgust and contempt and saying 'You didn’t support me' and she says, 'You didn’t support me.' Every time I turn it on somebody's crying!" Edwards revealed about his interpretation of the show. And it does seem that the show is all about the drama this season.
However, Dubrow doesn’t see it to be all about the drama between the wives. Dubrow explained that people love to watch the show because it gives them a look into another world. "It is! It’s a slice of a piece of a life. And you know what? It’s entertaining," she said. "It takes people out of their lives." It may not be as realistic for people watching, because not everyone has blonde hair and has Botox parties to stay youthful.
Dubrow may not be involved directly with too much of the drama, but she does admit that she likes to stay out of it. But she also likes to be honest and inject her opinion on occasion. "I like to think of myself a little bit as the Greek chorus," she said. "I'm not sure that's what the truth is. But I like to think of myself as that."
What do you think of Dubrow’s comment about being the honest one?
