On Jan. 4 Radar Online reports that "RHONYC" star Bethenny Frankel took her daughter, Bryn, spent New Year's Eve in Aspen while husband Jason Hoppy moved from their shared $5 million flat. A source close to the divorcing couple says that Jason wanted to spend the holiday with his wife and daughter but Bethenny didn't want that. She isn't planning on getting back together with Jason so moving out of the flat is completely necessary.
Bethenny has been itching to get out of New York City since she first separated with Hoppy and was just now presented with the opportunity. Jason wasn't invited on the trip although he seemingly wanted to go. This Aspen trip is the second one that Bethenny and Bryn have taken without Jason since the split. The source says that Jason's whole world is upside down right now because he isn't really wanting a divorce.
It seems that these two are completely on different pages in their lives and things aren't meshing well. Moving out of their shared home is likely the best thing for the couple. A few degrees of separation will do the couple good and give them time to clear the air before going into the divorce proceedings.
