In Jan. 3 Christian Post Entertainment reported that the most likely reason that "RHONYC" star Bethenny Frankel is getting divorced is because she is a very controlling person. Bethenny, a talk show host, surrounds herself with people that cater to her every whim, something that she wasn't getting from her marriage with Jason Hoppy, and it was causing several problems.
A friend close to the reality star says that there was not any one turning point that caused a strain in their marriage, it was an on-going problem. They had tried making their marriage work but it had gotten too difficult to be husband and wife. Now, the couple have split and Jason is finally moving out of the apartment that the couple share. They plan to co-parent their two year old daughter.
Bethenny is known as a control freak and has problems with sharing the spotlight as it is a "my way or the highway" situation with her at every turn. It is a stressful situation for anyone, especially a high profile couple such as this that have to deal with not only the challenges of marriage, and raising a child but also being a public figure with every move that you make.
While a source close to the reality star says that Bethenny is devastated that her marriage didn't work out because she wanted it all, the career, family, and husband, she will never show it. She only has herself to blame for being unwilling to make change and compromise in a relationship that could have been a great one.
