“The Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan has been filming the show since the third season and she has been experiencing some serious financial issues while filming the show. She has been sharing her bankruptcy issues on the show, but many felt that she couldn’t pay it off with her Bravo salary. And her salary has just been revealed, proving it isn’t as high as expected. According to a new Radar Online report published on June 17, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Sonja Morgan is supposedly earning quite a bit from the show.

Sonja is still raking in quite the amount of money from the show. She is set to make about $426,500 from the reality TV show. She is still feeling the pressure from Hannibal Pictures as they are suing her for several millions. Plus, “The Real Housewives of New York” was rumored to be going badly, because the women could not settle on the money they wanted for filming the show.

Of course, Sonja is dealing with some issues in regards to this bankruptcy, especially since the $7 million she was sued for has now increased to $8.5 million with interest rates. Sonja was first to sign on for the new season of the show this season and one can imagine she will be the first to sign on for the next season, should the show be renewed.

“Morgan’s current annual gross earned income of $426,500 derived from her employment as a performer on the reality television program “The Real Housewives of New York”, as reported in her monthly operating reports filed with the Court,” court records reveal.

No word on how her co-stars are supporting her during this time. Recently, Judge Rita Miller upheld her financial settlement ruling, meaning that she will have to pay up the millions that she is currently owing. In addition, she will have one year to come up with the money.

Are you surprised at the amount of money Sonja gets for filming the show?
