‘RHONY’ star Ramona Singer speaks out on divorce from Mario

“The Real Housewives of New York” star Ramona Singer may have stood by her husband during filming, but it sounds like she is ready to move on. She has filed for divorce after reports that he had cheated on her with a younger man, and he supposedly choked Ramona during a recent fight. According to a new Bravo report published on Jan. 29, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Ramona Singer is now speaking out about her divorce from Mario.

And since the couple has one daughter, Ramona wants to focus on Avery. Avery is in college an she is currently living in Atlanta, meaning she doesn’t have to deal with the divorce issues. She can hide out on campus and not focus on her parents’ issues. But Ramona wants people to respect her privacy because of her daughter.

“Thank you all for the love & support! For my daughter's sake, I would appreciate everyone respecting our privacy during this difficult time,” she revealed on Twitter as part of her official statement. This morning, she filed for divorce. And the housewives around the country have reached out to Ramona after hearing the news. Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills tweeted, “XXOO” to him, while Dina Manzo from New Jersey tweeted, “Sending hugs xoxo.”
