LuAnn de Lesseps shared a photo of herself filming today, but it wasn't for Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City." Instead, the divorced mother of two was filming for an entirely separate series.
Following rumors of a possible exit from "The Real Housewives of New York City," de Lesseps took to Twitter, where she told fans of her new project.
"Taping a fun new show xo," de Lesseps wrote on July 9. Along with her post, the reality star shared a photo of herself in an apron with a film crew set up beside her.
De Lesseps didn't reveal much about the new show, but judging by her apron, it's safe to say it involves cooking of some sort.
As for her rumored exit from "The Real Housewives of New York City," de Lesseps' rep recently spoke out, denying that Bravo has made any decision to let her go -- and also denying reports that de Lesseps has been working for free on the sixth season of the hit series.
“The only thing LuAnn does for free is her charity work,” de Lesseps' rep told Hollywood Life. “Every year they talk about the same potential of firings. LuAnn had a great season and she is looking forward to returning, but she is also very busy with her new business ventures including her Countess LuAnn Dress Collection and she is set to follow up with jewelry and home. So whatever the future holds will be positive.”
After the fifth season of the show, de Lesseps' role was reduced from official housewife to friend of the housewives, which she claimed to be okay with. If she does return, chances are she'll be a friend again, but either way, she appears to be on board.
