“The Real Housewives of New York” star Kelly Bensimon admitted to having a breakthrough - not a breakdown - on the third season of the show. It was a dramatic season for her, as she had to deal with Bethenny Frankel and the arguments over what was said throughout the season. The two got off to a bad start, but it sounds like they didn’t work things out before Frankel left the show for her own reality show. According to a new tweet released on Aug. 28, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Bensimon is now revealing that she did everything possible to stop filming the third season of the show.
“But after the boat episode, it's clear that you weren't well so I hope things are better for you now. :-),” one follower wrote to Bensimon this morning. “What about "scareyisland,”” another follower asked. “I did anything to stop the filming. Contractually, I can't say why,” she revealed. It sounds like she wants people to know that she didn’t like filming the third season of the show.
On the reunion, she said that she didn’t want to go on the trip with Frankel, but that Bravo made her go. Andy Cohen downright denied that accusation. In addition, she did return to the fourth season of the show, meaning she couldn’t have been that desperate to stop filming.
What do you think of her statement?
