“The Real Housewives of New York” star Jill Zarin may not have done much to save her friendship to Bethenny Frankel while the two women were filming the third season of the show together, but it sounds like she wanted Frankel to reach out to her recently. Frankel had asked Zarin to appear on her talk show, but did so through her assistants. And Zarin didn’t like that one bit. According to a new Live Journal report published on Oct. 6, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Jill Zarin was supposedly upset that Frankel didn’t reach out to her personally.
"I flat out said no when they asked me to go on her show," Zarin revealed to Life & Style in an exclusive interview. "Does she think I'm just going to show up and she's going to come out and do her fake show and then run away?" Of course, Frankel had supposedly hoped for a reunion show for the ladies, and she had also reached out to Alex McCord. Perhaps Frankel thought that they had all grown up by now.
"She couldn't pick up the phone and call me herself. I was shocked. She should've called," Zarin added. "I'm in a neutral zone with Bethenny; we've communicated. I was hurt that she didn't call me because I did e-mail and congratulate her on the show, so it wasn't like we hadn't spoken. I was hoping she was looking for resolution and not to use me for ratings. I was looking for an honest and real conversation. I felt I deserved that because we were such good friends."
It sounds like Zarin won’t be on the show anytime soon unless Frankel herself reaches out. Do you think it was rude for Frankel to use her assistants or is Zarin overreacting?
