“The Real Housewives of New York” star Alex McCord has said nothing on Twitter about the new story that revealed she had been invited to Bethenny Frankel’s talk show to talk about Bravo’s housewives. Of course, Bethenny left the show after the third season of the show, but she remained friends with Alex, who threw her a baby shower. According to a new Radar Online report published on Oct. 2, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Alex McCord has said nothing about the report, even though she has been very active on Twitter this morning.
“Bethenny is feeling pressure from network executives because ratings from her talk show have been less than stellar. Both ladies turned down the invitation to appear on the talk show,” one source has revealed about the show. Apparently, Frankel didn’t want to invite the former co-stars to her talk show. “She didn’t want to invite Jill and Alex to come on, but she really needs a ratings boost, and thought having them come on would generate a ton of publicity,” the source adds.
And apparently after she agreed to extend the invitation, she had two rejections. “Bethenny was stunned that they both said no, she really thought they would agree to come on the show. Bethenny’s bosses suggested she call Jill and Alex personally, but she absolutely refused.” What do you think of her reaching out to her former co-stars?
