Sonja Morgan's latest blog post for "The Real Housewives of New York City" is a long one. As reported by Reality Tea on Saturday, July 5, Sonja's blog entry addressed many different things, including her friendship with LuAnn de Lesseps and how much of a better party hostess she is than co-stars Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill because she has so much more experience.

In a recent episode, LuAnn blasted Sonja for not coming to her defense when Sonja's esthetician said on camera and to Kristen that LuAnn had been with a Johnny Depp look-alike in St. Barth's, that she likes to be in charge, and that she prefers short French men with thick accents. LuAnn believed that as her friend, Sonja should have stopped or refuted what her esthetician said rather than take part in the gossip. LuAnn later said in her recap that she treated Sonja like a family member only to be treated like a disposable friend in return.

In her blog, Sonja said that she and LuAnn de Lesseps have only been friends for five or six years who hang out socially. She also denied LuAnn's claim that she allowed the gossip to spread because she's jealous of everything that she has in life. "Obviously I'm not jealous of her. I always want her happy," she wrote.

Sonja also used the blog to brag about what a great party hostess she is and to promote her Sonja In the City event planning business. She wrote that while she won't say that her co-stars Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill are bad hostesses, they simply don't have the same experience as her. She wrote that she has dinner at her home, usually for five or more people, every night and sometimes has dinner parties for big groups last minute.

Sonja's remarks about her frequent dinner parties prompted many readers to wonder how she's able to afford to do such a thing when she's reportedly in major financial trouble. Of course, Sonja Morgan, who has steadfastly maintained to her "The Real Housewives of New York City" co-stars that she is in no financial trouble at all, would likely reply that there's no reason for people to question her ability to throw a fabulous party no matter what's in the bank.
