Ramona Singer may want to get used to opening up about what happened with Mario Singer. On Saturday, August 9, the NY Daily News reported that if Ramona chooses to stay on for season seven of "The Real Housewives of New York City," she'll definitely be expected to talk about what went wrong with her marriage, something that she has successfully avoided so far.

Ramona announced on Twitter last week that she was ending her relationship with Mario and moving on with her life. The announcement came after photos were released of Mario having lunch and holding hands with Kasey Dexter, with whom he has been carrying on an affair with since last year. While Ramona initially filed for divorce in January after catching them together, she apparently believed whatever Mario was telling her because she later reconciled with Mario. It seems that the photos were the last straw for Ramona.

According to a source, the show's producers plan on having Ramona's marriage troubles be the focus of the next season. They want Ramona to finally open up about the demise of her long marriage. The source pointed out that Ramona was lucky for season six since Mario's cheating didn't become public knowledge until the season had already ended, which meant that Ramona could just focus on battling with the other housewives, rather than her husband, for the cameras.

When host Andy Cohen tried to get Ramona to talk about her marriage during the show's reunion, which was filmed in mid-June, Ramona outright refused to talk about it and actually got quite hostile with Andy. She even questioned Andy about his own love life, to which he replied that he doesn't have to answer since he's not on a reality show.

One person who especially found Ramona's refusal to talk about her marriage hypocritical was LuAnn de Lesseps. LuAnn reminded Ramona of all the times that she brought up her co-star's marriage problems on camera. "Karma's a b***h," LuAnn coolly concluded.

LuAnn de Lesseps, who reduced her role to that of a recurring housewife for season six, may be battling with Ramona Singer a lot more on season seven. The source also revealed that "The Real Housewives of New York City" producers are begging LuAnn to become a starring housewife again because they see how much she adds so much to the cast.
