“The Real Housewives of New York” stars are back after a long hiatus. There have been delays with this new season, because some of the cast members wanted more money to film the show. However, it sounds like the producers also had a hard time shortening the season, because the ladies had been filming for quite some time. Since the fifth season, the women had a long break, so fans are eager to learn what has been going on. According to a new Bravo report published on Jan. 8, “The Real Housewives of New York” stars are now giving updates as to what they have been doing since the show ended a few years ago.

Heather Thomson continues to work with her Yummie Tummie and fighting Spanx over stealing her ideas. She has also bee standing up for victims of Lyme disease, which is something that Yolanda Foster can only appreciate.

The other newbie, Carole Radziwill, has been working on her first novel. “The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating” is finally done and she is eager to see how this novel does. She is already a bestselling author and award-winning journalist. And she is currently single, as she and Russ broke up since filming the previous season of the show. And LuAnn de Lesseps won’t be a full-time housewife this time around, but she is also newly single.

Lastly, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan have also been busy. Ramona has been working on her wine, jewelry and skincare companies, as well as her fashion empire. She has also sent her daughter to college in Georgia. Despite cheating rumors, she and Mario are still going strong. Sonja has been making headlines with her love life, as she has been dating much younger men. No word on her legal battle, but one can imagine she will share her story on the show.
