Things are getting ugly in the Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy divorce negotiations. According to a Feb. 1 US Weekly report, Hoppy has issued some aggressive demands, including exclusive access to their Tribeca loft and primary custody of their daughter, Bryn.
Bethenny and Jason both said they are going to proceed with the split amicably when it was announced with promises of no drama. That didn’t last long, though. Sources say Jason is angry at how cold Frankel has been with him and wants to make her hurt.
Hoppy alleges that he’s a better parent than Bethenny and is planning to fight for custody of two-year-old Bryn. Frankel recently denied Internet rumors that she’s planning to write a memoir about single parenting. Perhaps that added fuel to the resentment Jason has been feeling.
Hoppy is still wearing his wedding ring and doesn’t seem as eager to close this chapter of his life as Bethenny is.
