'RHONJ' twins' mom to sue Jim Marchese over affair allegations (Report)

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is getting serious. On a recent episode, Jim Marchese, the husband of new cast member Amber Marchese, claimed Teresa Aprea's husband, Rino, once engaged in an affair with her own mother!

Although Aprea and her husband have denied claims, the story line continues to make waves on the series. In fact, the story line has caused such a stir that it may lead to a law suit.

"We need to set the record straight," Nicole Napolitano told Us Weekly on Sept. 3. "My mother is ready to have a lawsuit against Jim for slander."

According to Jim, the Napolitano and Aprea's mother, Santa, slept with Rino years ago. Needless to say, the twins, Napolitano and Aprea, are extremely frustrated with the allegations. However, they aren't so upset that they are considering leaving the show.

"We never said we were quitting the show," Napolitano confirmed. "I don't know where that came from."

Napolitano and Aprea were brought aboard the series ahead of season six, replacing Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. Laurita has since returned to the show.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
