'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice pleads guilty to fraud charges

In a move that shocked fans of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe pleaded guilty on Tuesday to many counts of fraud after the couple are indicted on 41 counts. On March 5, the New York Daily News reported of the famous reality couple's admission.

This guilty plea may result in up to 27 months in jail for Teresa Giudice and 46 months for Joe Giudice. Initially the pair wanted to be tried separately, hoping that Teresa would avoid a jail sentence altogether. This did not happen though and it looks like both Teresa and Joe can prepare to serve some time.

Initially indicted on 41 counts of bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud and multiple other charges. After serving whatever amount of time he is sentenced to, Joe Giudice faces deportation as well. The Italian citizen will have another court date to determine whether or not he will be sent out of the United States according to Federal Judge Esther Salas who accepted the guilty pleas.

It has been rumored that "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cameras plan to follow Teresa after the guilty pleas and that jail time will not mean removal from the hit Bravo reality show.
