Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, were not invited to Lauren Manzo's engagement party that took place this past weekend. "Real Housewives of New Jersey" fans were somewhat surprised to see Teresa's brother Joe and his wife Melissa at the party as well as Teresa's cousin Kathy and her husband, Rich. Many questioned why the Manzo's invited other "housewives" but excluded Teresa. Well, on April 6, Lauren provided an explanation on Twitter.
"Would u invite someone u haven’t spoken to in way over a year and have absolutely no relationship with to a party of yours? (sic)," Lauren tweeted in response to a fan that asked why Teresa and Joe weren't at her party.
Teresa Giudice has not been on great terms with Lauren Manzo's mother, Caroline Manzo, so it wasn't really surprising to learn that Teresa wasn't invited to Lauren and Vito's engagement celebration. However, fans were quite confused to see Joe and Melissa Gorga at the party since they met the Manzo's through Teresa -- it seems just a bit strange, no?
At the same time, no one can blame Lauren for excluding Teresa. They don't have a relationship so it wouldn't make sense for Teresa and Joe to get an invite. What do you think? Should Lauren have invited Teresa just or did she make the right decision to leave her out?
As previously reported, Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are both facing jail time in their upcoming trial
