Celebuzz spoke with former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Dina Manzo on Feb. 5 about her tenure on the show and specifically about the always controversial Teresa Giudice.
Manzo said she has known Giudice for 15 years and the woman that fans watched on "Celebrity Apprentice" is the real Teresa Giudice. Manzo said that the evil Giudice on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is a character produced by the show. She said that the women are put into contrived situations and what results is not something she is proud of.
While Manzo said that she loves watching "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Real Housewives of New York," she doesn't like the show she took part in. Manzo said the other two shows have women calling each other names but in New Jersey, families are hurt.
This is one reason Dina Manzo said she is happy to leave the show. She said the producers of the show twisted her words and that, without them egging Teresa Giudice on, she never would have been in the table flipping situation.
