“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Kathy Wakile may have come on the show to film with her family members, but after a season with fighting, crying and makeups, it sounds like Bravo is ready to move in a different direction. In fact, it sounds like she could be getting the boot as the producers may be trying to go back to the first few seasons of the show. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 15, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Kathy Wakile and others may be facing the axe.
The reunion may just have aired, but it sounds like Bravo producers may be trying to get a new cast together for the new season, so they can capture Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles, which will take place at a trial in January. Dina Manzo has been asked back and Caroline Manzo has left the show. Jacqueline could be leaving and Kathy could be facing a downgrade.
“Bravo believes Kathy no longer had what it took to be an official housewife anymore,” an unnamed source tells “All About the Real Housewives.” Apparently, producers “decided to keep Kathy as a friend of the housewives because many people enjoy her sister Rosie.” If these women leave the show and Teresa’s friends come on the show, it could become all about Teresa’s legal issues. And it is questionable how many pepole would watch that.
