“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice may be facing 39 charges of fraud and tax evasion, but it sounds like she is trying to move on with her life in the most normal way possible. She has been attending events, has been spending time with her daughters and family at the Jersey Shore this summer and is now gearing up for a trial in October. But things just got weird. According to a new Radar Online report published on Aug. 29, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Giudice is supposedly now asking her friends and fans to help her pay her legal bills.
Apparently, she is having an event in hopes of raising money in hopes of covering her legal bills. “Her supporters and millions of fans around the world strongly believe Teresa will be vindicated soon and are seeking donations for the reality TV star, who has four young children,” a press release about the event reads. “The group is dedicated to helping Teresa stay out of prison and also help pay any fines or other restitution that Teresa and Joe are ordered to pay.”
“Tonight’s appearance at Maliblue is just a meet & greet w/ fans. I just heard that some of the workers there wanted to support me, and that is very sweet & I appreciate it, but if anyone wants to support me, please do it by donating to a charity I love: @NephCure. Xx,” she tweeted in response to the event. It sounds like she does want people to donate money, just not to her.
What do you think of her asking people to cover her legal bills?
