“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice has been filming the new season for quite some time, but she hasn’t been as open and honest on Twitter as she was before the charges were brought against her. Even though she is a part of the upcoming season, don’t expect too many answers. According to a new Reality Tea report published on July 10, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice isn’t doing any promotions for the new season because she doesn’t want to answer any questions about her upcoming sentencing.
Of course, Teresa has already asked her family members, including her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga, to not talk about her legal problems in the press. They haven’t said much, other than the fact that she is doing great. Teresa and her husband have done no promotional interviews for the upcoming season, even though fans are eager to learn more about Teresa’s legal problems.
As the season ended last season, Teresa settled her feuds with her co-stars. But it was revealed that both Teresa and her husband had been charged with 42 counts of fraud and tax evasion. They pleaded guilty earlier this year, and they are expected to be sentenced this summer. But Teresa continued to film the show, despite going through these issues. One can imagine she will have plenty of tears to shed on the show.
“It’s very frustrating for Bravo . . . They tried to tell Teresa that she was contractually obligated to show but her legal crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, shut that down. Teresa’s contract is actually very loose, and doesn’t clearly dictate what media she must do,” a source has revealed. “Teresa doesn’t want to talk about the upcoming sentencing because she is afraid of doing anything that would negatively impact the proceedings,” the source said. “It’s a delicate balance, and Teresa is relying on the guidance of Wendy, much to Bravo’s dismay.”
But Teresa doesn’t want to talk about her issues in the press. She has been staying in her home in New Jersey, has been hanging out with her children and has been staying close to her husband, who could be heading to jail soon. Surely, it isn't comforting to know that Apollo Nida has just be sentenced to 8 years behind bars for similar fraud charges.
What do you think of Teresa's decision to skip out on her work?
