“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice may be desperate to get money before her trial that will take place next year, so she will continue to share her life with viewers. And one can imagine they are expecting to get front-row seats to her trial. According to a new Radar Online report published on Oct. 16, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice signed the contract to return to Bravo without negotiating more money for her family.
“There were basically no negotiations at all,” the insider said. “Teresa was desperate to keep money coming in and so she took the first thing that was offered to her.” One can imagine she wants to make as much money as possible before trial, so her daughters have money to fall back on should they both go to jail. She is reportedly the second-highest paid housewife in the franchise.
“The financial terms of her contract have been drastically reduced,” the source added, revealing that Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita are out, while Kathy Wakile has been downgraded to a friend of the housewife. Rosie will now be paid to be filming the show and Melissa is returning as a full housewife again. “The show got really dark,” an insider has explained to InTouch. “They needed to bring in new faces to get back to some of the lighter drama that everyone loves from the “Real Housewives” franchise.” Rumor has it that three new housewives will be joining the show.
What do you think of Teresa joining the show again to document her legal issues?
