“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice was invited to the VMAs that were held yesterday alongside with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, The two women were invited because of their success on the Bravo show and it sounds like Gorga loved the show. However, Giudice didn’t end up going. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Aug. 26, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Giudice is now revealing that her rejection to go to the VMA was not accepted at home.
Giudice probably turned down the invitation because she wants to spend time at home with her daughters, given she is going to trial in about 6 weeks. She is facing upwards of 50 years in jail, and it sounds like she knows that it is important that she is spending time with her children rather than attending award shows.
But her daughter Gia was not too happy about her mother turning down an invitation to go. "Gia just found out I turned down the VMAs to spend the weekend w/family & she said, 'I know you love us, but you have GOT to be kidding me!'," Giudice wrote on Twitter. It sounds like she is downplaying her decision, but it sounds like she would have been there if she wasn’t facing all of those charges.
What do you think of her staying at home?
