‘RHONJ’ star Teresa Giudice: ‘I took responsibility, I’ve made mistakes’

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her husband pleaded guilty yesterday, putting forth a plea deal for the couple. In fact, it sounds like she is finally taking some responsibility for the issues she has been facing. She has often said that she had no real idea about what was going on, but pleading guilty does give her some responsibility for it. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on March 4, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is now admitting that she made mistakes in the past.

After pleading guilty, Teresa issued a statement, explaining how she is feeling. "Today, I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago," Teresa has revealed in a statement. "I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus I intend to address the court directly at sentencing. I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decisions, and express my remorse to Judge Salas and the public."

And it sounds like Teresa completely heartbroken. "I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family — especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world,” Teresa says. Her case was discussed on Nancy Grace last night and it was revealed that Teresa and her husband faked their W-2 for tax purposes, claiming that Teresa was a real-estate agent and made upwards of $12,000 per month.
