“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her husband were building their dream home in New Jersey during the first season, and fans never got to see their previous home before their mansion. And then during the third season, she filed for bankruptcy with her husband behind her. Now, according to a new Radar Online report published on Jan. 22, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice gets to stay in the big New Jersey mansion despite facing various fraud charges and still facing bankruptcy.
Now, she gets to keep her big mansion even though she owes lots of money on it. Teresa’s home is reportedly worth $500,000, but she still owes $1.65 million on the mortgage. There have been rumors of foreclosure, but those rumors were often addressed and she has moved on with her life.
However, this bankruptcy case is separate from her fraud case. She is still facing 41 counts of fraud, including conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud. If they are convicted, they face upwards of 50 years in prison.
