“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice may not understand some of the charges that she is facing, but it sounds like her husband may have been behind putting her signature on important loan documents. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Dec. 3, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is now distancing herself from her husband so she can get a lighter treatment.

“Teresa has stuck by Joe all along, but this is the best chance they have at a fair trial. Some of the charges are against [Joe and Teresa], and some just include Joe and his business partner," a source has revealed. In addition, Teresa recently hired a crisis manager to prepare for her trial, but the manager is only working for her.

Wendy Feldman is the crisis manager that Teresa hired. "I am acting as the legal coach and crisis manager only for Teresa Giudice," Feldman has revealed to Us Weekly. And it sounds like she doesn’t want to deal with the issues her husband is facing. “She has four kids, and she feels like no judge would take a mother away from her children… At this point, their legal separation is just another attempt to avoid prison time. They feel like it’s the right decision for them both,” a source has revealed.
